The Otago Squash Club, or, more properly, the Otago Squash Rackets Club, has been around since 1963, but not at its present location; it started at Logan Park as an offshoot of the Otago Lawn Tennis Association. The Mellor Park facilities were opened in 1968.

Today it houses four, centrally heated, courts with men’s and women’s changing room and showers. Upstairs there is a viewing gallery, or you can watch the action on court 2 through its glass back downstairs.

Squash can be thirsty work and there is a large, comfortable lounge and bar with an accompanying kitchen to allow for a full debrief after the competitive stuff is done.
